hi, I'm level 98. I'm looking for a slow meter 50yard lob wedge. Has anyone got a preference?i have a level96 max meter wedge at 75 yards but think I need a shorter distance high trajectory wedge with some auto back spin. Am I asking for the moon?

OMG, as fast as you can go to the Pro Shop and get a high level ATX 64W to replace that Godforsaken useless HB you have. You'll get more than you asked for.  It's a 50 yard wedge that'll change your game.  :-)

Any of these will work well for you. I use the Max because the meter speed lines up well with the rest of my clubs, but they will all get it done for you. http://www.wgt.com/proshop/product_compare.aspx?compare=true&c=Wedges&i=8cef4b2c-d8d8-4c0e-bc70-719e8a27c01d,719d6249-69f1-466e-9ae9-f370805c576c,09b83349-25c6-4707-aa37-b8137da26cc5

I went the same route as #k7jbq... I seem to do okay with the faster meter high end wedges on desktop but I notice it more on mobile. Possibly because I tend to use a lower end ball on mobile. I would prefer the Max wedge have more spin, but if there is a situation where I really need it, I just use the AVG wedge.

For me, I prefer to jsut use the Cleveland 588 64° Wedge (L80+), even though it's not the perfect spread with the LVL95 & LVL96 Mack Daddy wedges.  The meter is a bit quick, but it's not so bad with a short wedge as compared to a quick meter Iron or Wood.

The key is it punches an even 50 yards, and Flops an even 20, and has the best Spin (4.5), which matches the Mack Daddy's.  I never hit a FULL shot with it, and just Punch it for the perfect spread with the Mack Daddys (100/75/50).

I tried the 50 yard MAX wedge, but 3.5 spin just isn't enough from bunkers & deep rough. The ATV could be OK, but  I prefer the Cleveland.

Whatever you decide, you should probably ditch that starter hybrid for 3 wedges, or at least pick up the LVL93 MAX Hybrid to match your Irons.

Epic bad move, thinking the OP isn't all there upstairs. He ditches his nice middle wedge for a CG 64w (good move in itself) but hangs onto that stupid starter HB.

    WTF?   LOL

#YJ depending on which platform he is on, it isn't always clear how to exchange some clubs out. If you recall, when the mobile upgrade was done recently a number of people were complaining about losing their third wedge and I believe WGT even ended up doing a video on how to properly equip all three wedges and ditch the hybrid. Sometimes even after making the changes, the game would still default to old settings. Fmagnets even commented on it. The OP could be confused as well.

update - my mistake on the video I thought I noticed it in a WGT posts hence the confusion.

I think you're right about the mobile settings leaving his hybrid in there.

FYI, it was AussieMick11, owner of NYCCC, who created the video.

Hi YankeeJim. It appears impossible for me to ditch the HB wood. The system just won't let me. I'd rather follow your advice and replace it with my wedge. If you know how to do that, please advise me. Thanks, David.
