Why do we continue to use the same courses for our stroke play tournaments when there are so many different courses used in the closest to the pin tournaments.  Lets change it up some to make a little more interesting.

There are no stroke-play courses available except for Kiawah & Bethpage Black. All the other courses are only for closest-to-the-hole challenges. It takes many months to develop a new, full stroke-play course. The next should be St. Andrews in late 2009 or in 2010.

Since this game is overlaid onto real pictures, or something like that, I would think that maybe cutting and pasting hole locations in the same course could create new locations. Is this possible?

For instance, you have 18 specific pin locations on 18 greens. Compare their relative locations and cut the pin from one hole and exchange it with one from another green.

    Does this make any sense?

I vote for pasting the pin and surrounding area from Bethpage Black #15 onto every green!
