#1 we always lobbied for 50 yard club not 60 yard club. We already have dozen of them between 55-65 yards...

#2 new balls, unless they have feel stat, the rest, imo are useless

#3 match play, good idea, i haven't played it yet, we'll see...

#4 fast greens, i guess you mean true to distance greens. I hope no more adding 3-4 ft to some shots just to get to the hole?:). some still play normal (6.5ft from short #2 bp hitting with 6 power is short) while hitting 27+1 on bp 4 like 28, goes 31..:)

Not sure what else is new, I have to go for the day - discuss it here:)

Yeah, that is a disappointment, although I did buy the new Ping 64 degree wedge, to see what it can accomplish.

Please report how it is. I am guessing it's same as other pings - very effective:)

I'm glad I'm not the only one disappointed with the new update.

It sure seemed that way from the other thread.   :)

Should be! And I don't think we've ever had a 60yd Ping wedge before, so this might finally inspire me to throw away my 60 degree Tour Starter wedge for good... That one is rated at 55yd, while this new Ping wedge is 60yd, which seems like an almost negligible difference.

I agree we still need a high-quality 50yd wedge in this game.

It'd also be nice if WGT allowed us to "break up" our iron sets so we can drop an iron for an additional wedge or wood.

Another feature that we'll have to hope for in the future I guess.

You know, I'm so ecstatic that most of the worst forum bugs have now disappeared, and that these forums once again work in the Opera browser, that I can't be disappointed at all by today's product update. What a pain it was, visiting these forums in the unwieldy Chrome or Firefox or Internet Explorer for two long months. So, today's product fix/update is a great one, as I perceive it. We've known all along it would take a much longer time for WGT to introduce variable pin locations & new stroke-play courses, so to see all these unannounced forum fixes feels like an unexpected, Christmas-like blessing.

And what an interesting habit for WGT, to release these updates on the 13th day of the month! If they keep the current upgrade rate, we should see the next product update on the 13th of December, with St. Andrews, the new, full stroke-play course, as a really fantastic Christmas present!

I just tried CTTP, it's nice I can tell you now, there will be some sub 50's scores.

I posted 170 first try with 2 of them being 50+ft, and I had 5 or so heart beats...

1 hole definately plays shorter than advertised...

    Anyway, I am off!

THE FLAGSTICK!: it is very good to have the option to pull or leave the flag stick yes. the one BIG wgt and i mean BIG problem is that it interfers with the pointer being laid upon grid to aid in reading the putt. This is very dissappointing, before only once in a while would the swing meter actually become active between the avator and the ball. Drive for show putt for dough.....this is important to me and others I hope. I dont see the remedy.
