There are some slippery, curly putts from 3ft that I'd make anyone on
WGT putt..Merion comes to mind, so does Pebble, and just about every green at Whistler.

The idea of a player trying to set the rules for conceding putts at the start of a game based on distance is ridiculous, and rude.

And in that spirit, I can attest that there can be some awesome gamesmanship when it comes to conceding putts.

As in, concede two footers all the way until the last hole in a tied match, than say, hmmm, "think you better hit that one."

Real golfers have all been there.

    Hi Ken

'Some people believe football WGT is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.' ;)

Indeed, I stand corrected. Many a tear shed standing on "The Kop".

    Re gamesmanship. . .
