I realize your time is valuable but are you really playing against the person who quits or are you playing with them as you try to better your game? If you shoot a career low and the player you are with quits on 17 how is your time stolen? I play for me and my enjoyment,  if someone quits I can still finish and learn new shots and skills without them. If your time is the only problem then a quitter going back and finishing a round does not get you that back , your arguement is flawed.

I hate to say it but i have quit games and for these reasons.  Playing with four people is worst than watching paint dry.  The time clock should default by half when four are on the course.  I've seen people use up all the time just to make a putt under 2 ft. Get Real.  Plus if someone just walks away the play clock will run 3 times before someone is DQed.  I would like to see some options for four players like  best ball and scrambles.

I really love WGT and hope the real site has learned well from the beta
