    This may have already been addressed in the forum's but, I didn't feel like searching all the pages, so here goes.

    How about allowing the player to change his/her availability to AFK (away from keyboard), BRB (be right back) or Busy, etc. so your friends know if your not sitting at your computer. Just a thought.

    Yes, it's been addressed many times before, because the current green dots are next to useless and can actually be more harmful than useful. See this post proposing multiple-color user status dots.
