    Ahh, quadratic formulas.  LOL

    I think we need an aerodynamic drag formula, however, such as...

    R = ½ρCAv2

    But, if you choose not to do complex physics calcs - just hit the ball with two separate clubs into the specific wind and elevation and record the distances. Easy peasy. LMAO !

    just sayin'...

    Lift ∝ V^2 bottom− V^2 top = (V0 + ωR)^2− (V0 − ωR)^2= 4V.0.ω.R ∝ V.0.ω.R

    Golf ball lift is proportional to its initial velocity and angular velocity times the radius of the golf ball.

    i use my phone calculator..

    altough i use these calulations you cannot beat course knowledge .
