    Hi,

Can we work the ball (right to left or left to right)?  Playing some hook or slice?   I've tried things but it doesn't work

Not really but you can cause the same affect by missing early or late on purpose. Hitting early causes the ball to go left like a draw and missing late makes like a slice, or fade. You won't see the ball flight like you would expect but the result is the same.

Something to fool around with in practice... instead of aiming against the wind to compensate for it, over-aim and miss the ding to compensate. In other words, get the ball in the air going in the same direction as the wind. You get some pretty good yardage and the miss usually makes the deviation worse so you can really crush some drives.

A good way to play BPB2, where you have that dogleg left around the tree line, is to pull your tee shot around them. The ball looks like it goes right through the tree but in actuality it "draws" around it and you wind up centered in the fairway.

Keep in mind something very important when fooling around with this quasi-draw/fade-missing the ding on the downwind side of the wind exaggerates the wind affect. Missing into the wind assures a better result so be careful when using it. GL
