My allegiance is shifting to Henrik Stenson. You know how sometimes you see what a pro does on a particular hole and you say, 'I could do that'? Well, today after 4 holes Henrik was at +7, and I thought, 'I could do that!'

Are you sure you could shoot a+7 for 18 hole round????  LOL

Can I change my vote to Eldrick Woods? A 66 today with a 31 on the back to get within 3 of McIlroy??!! Whoa. Hard chargin' Tiger on Friday!

And that included 3 bogies on top of 2 birdie putts sliding by the hole. He could have been 5 strokes better real easy. He birdied the 18th after a shot much like Mickelson's eagle last year and walked off looking a little like Tiger of old.

Me, +7 for 18? Absolutely not. Plus 7 through the first four holes - yes!

LMAO.... I'm worse than that... if I'm 1 over on any hole I consider that a huge victory.

My man Henrik closed out the first round with an 83 and carded a respectable 74 on Friday, but alas failed to make the cut. At least he has the weekend off.

Bubba made a poor showing. McIIroy was amazing for 3 rounds, but looks like pressure got to him. Felt sorry for him, must have been a horrible round to live through shooting 80 after leading for 3 rounds. He's young, he'll make many waves.  Glad to see Tiger play well, maybe it'll give him some confidence.

In order to have a meltdown, first you have to be solid. He done good.

They all did well, though Phil struggled the whole tourney. It was a wake up call that there are a new set of "young guns" on the PGA. I enjoyed watching.
