Full screen help needed

  I have a widescreen monitor, so I was ecstatic to read the news of full screen play...but I still have white borders on each side.

  Can I play full screen at 1440x900 somehow?

  Yes, the borders spoil the otherwise gorgeous views. If there's no wide-screen fix for this, it would be nice if the borders were at least black.
