I have reached level 80, but still have no idea what club and technique to use when playing out of brush.

I usually punch out to the fairway. Going for the green from brush can end up more trouble than it's worth.

I agree with CD. It depends upon the lie %%%, and there is much more success with any of the very top wedges. But depending on the lie, you can punch to the green. At least I do.

Yes you can, but remember to tell your playing partners to put on their helmets and pay attention.

If the brush is 70%, select punch, close your eyes and take a whack.

I would agree, etc.....and usually it's my shortest Cleveland, DEPENDING of how far the FW was, but there may be a need for more distance, so you may have to adjust.

for brush i usually punch 30-40% multiply (1.35) 50-70% multiply (1.5) 75%works and if your near green allow a 10-15 yard rollout

Eg: 47 yard punch full backspin 50-70% brush allow for rollout 10 yards

37x1.5= 55 yard shot try it i use callaway balls with 3.0 spin and max spin wedges

this isnt completely solid so use it as a guide.

    K7JBQ:
    brush is 70%

    70% ????

    Really?!?!? Does THAT EXIST?!?!?

I've never seen it.  I have seen however, (trees....any avid golfer knows they're 90% air) the OTHER 10%.  And I've seen 100% water 'couple times too, but, NEVER 70% lie.

(you DO know you can aim your shot, right?)

Most definitely and be happy when you find it if you can at least get to manageable rough by punching. Aiming to the closest part of the fairway is a must, even if it's 90 degrees off your position and even that is no guarantee you'll recover.

    ^^^THIS^^^^

The OP has low level wedges, and whilst better than starters, you will have to adopt good course management. You will not get a miracle shot with these wedges.

I prefer puch and full top spin to find the f/w

forgot to mention medium brush 30-40% also play it like it is 50-70%(1.5) multiply

heres proof it works but it isnt completely solid as i said it will work 75% of the time

    i was 96 yards away 30-40% med brush (1.5)

96x1.5=144-10(rollout) this shot was hit 135 punch shot
