I can't say for sure that this occurred but...I noticed for awhile now that when choosing my setting for the power on the 60' putt scale I would have to back off about 2% because it would overshoot the cup if I didn't. I wasn't sure if this was a glitch or a problem since it's subjective in the first place. I just got accustomed to it.

Today however I noticed that it was coming up short that 2% I was adjusting for. So I decided to try it where it should be and guess what? On the money! So did WGT adjust/fix this or is it just me?

If it's me I'll work it out as I always do. But if it's WGT it might be nice if you give us a heads up on such things. I would hate to enter a one play only tournament and discover it there!

So far...overall, I've found that the strength is accurate.  But I've a problem sometimes with what I think is the correct break and what WGT gives me....meaning missing a 2 foot or 3 foot put...but I never know because it might be me and not them.

Also...I'd rather be long than short.  Short?  You'll never make the shot but at least with long, you had a chance.  I hate short unless from long distance then I'll settle for short and under the hole....God willing.

Pete, my preference is that the system be accurate. My suggestion is that WGT tell members what changes they made so we know what to expect. But thanks for the advice anyway.

Hi glhadiator, we didn't make a system update this week... when was the last time you played? We are planning on another update in the next week or so, and we will announce the changes made in this forum.

Thanks Alex and Ghlad?  So far I consider the system to be accurate if only because I never know if I screwed up or it was the system.  Distance and break-wise I consider the system to be accurate and if I miss a putt, consider it my fault (like pulling or pushing.)  If I could hit "Perfect" ever time I might have a different opinon but I don't hit it dead on all the time.

    Mostly this affects long putts.

Alex, thanks for the response. I play every day. As I said in my post the 60' putt scale is subjective so I don't even know if there is a problem. It just gave me the idea that if there are changes made we could be informed of what they are and when they were made. Just an idea.

Pete, it would be easier if questions/suggestions directed at the developers be answered by them. This post was made under the WGT beta for a reason. You are notably a good player but I didn't solicit your opinion or considerations concerning my playing. How is it possible for you to respond to WGT about how my computer and game function?

Alex, I'll try to determine if there is anything to the putt scale thing but it's difficult since the scale is purely a best guess. I don't think you would need my system info as I don't believe that could have anything to do with it.

I will say this. I don't have any of the problems I read in the posts every day(well, except for post window and some that are obviously player induced). I don't know if it's just my system or if it's my connection. But I'll be happy to provide you with any info if you think you need it for anything.

Apologies, we did make an update last Thursday 11/13 to enable spin from a sand shot. There should be another update soon, that we will post in the Announcements section.
