Look at this tasty tidbit I found:

    Next WGT release!
    03 Jul 2009 at 11:13 PM

"Happy 4th of July everyone!  With the looming release pending deployment... I will only say this:

The players have spoken... and we have listened!

I hope you guys are ready to handle the BIG sticks because the days of sub-250yd drives are over!!!  New clubs have shaped up to be real game changers... so I cannot wait to get your feedback once the release goes live!  And remember... these are only the FIRST of MANY new clubs.

Also... the new PUTTERS are going to keep you much more honest!  In a good way!

Stay tuned everyone and again... enjoy the summer weekend!"

Kaslo, you should know by now that they have something up their sleeve to keep the difficulty exactly where it is.  Yeah, we'll be hitting tour average drives finally, but I can guarantee the accuracy (or something else) is going to suffer greatly.

    Swing meter speeds 4 & 5, that's all I gotta say.

I just have to think that the meter speed will be fast, and if you miss the mark by a hair you'll pay the price. Here's to hoping a redzone style power bar is coming. Like when the head of your driver touches your left foot ( for lefties your right foot ) at the top of your backswing. Right to the moon Alice !

Hopefully the deviations will be gone, too. I'm getting sick of adjusting my aim to compensate for the wind, only to hit a perfect shot and have it head straight towards the pin as if I never moved the aim point.
