    I think some of you confusing few things:

     

    1. eagle from the normal game play - yes, those are rare but not that rare...i think i had 25+ of them

    2. making eagle on closest to the pin - yes, rare but also setup position, after many tries, one can make it

    3. real hole in one - on a part 3, those are very rare. i think tibbets has 100+ combined hole in one's but only 4 from tee's on par 3's

    I think difference is quite fast. I have some unusual eagle saves in my profile...some from as far as 197 yards, or 30/40 sand..or with 17-18mph winds...

    Spot on post.

    Looks like I got a real one eh?? Nice :-)  I am in rarified company if Tibbets only has 4 in total.

    My "real"one was at Bethpage in qualifying round - Par 3 - I still missed the cut by 2 but was a hell of hole in one !!

    I witnessed 2 from my opponents earlier today, lol. In two different games. One on Bethpage hole 3, the other on hole 8. The one at hole 8 was made by an Amateur player: the ball flew from the air straight into the cup; as another guy who was there commented, it was like watching basketball.   The player managed a par round and was promoted from the Amateur to the Pro rank right after we finished.

    i had 2 eagles straight into the cup. 1 was in my replay for few month and other in multiplayer game. i can tell u, it was amazing and chances are the guy wont have another 1 for a year

    I made one the other day on BP # 8 while playing a ranked round, I have it saved on my profile.  I think this is the only one I made during a round, the rest were made during skills challenges.  I need as many of them as I can get, my putting sux big time!!!

    During last weeks 18 hole weekly tourney at Kiawah, I came within 3 inches of a hole in one. Still ended up with a 66 for the round tho.

    Just had another one on BPB #17 from 182yrd, dropped right in the hole like a Michael Jordan slam dunk, check out reply.  This is my 4th one and like others have said they were all just lucky shots!

    Keep at it, you'll get one!

    Hi Dave..  Love the ACE at 18, nothing but cup!  Great shot!

    On your replay's, the one above it marked "One bounce HIO" is not a Hole in One... it's a "Hole Out" from the fairway on a CTTP competition.  Only Tee shots are counted as ACEs, fairways are not... (See above post)

    It's a beautiful shot though.  Congrats!
