Ever since the major overhaul and I went from being an Amateur to a Master, I haven't been able to shoot better than a 35 or 70.  I can not even come close to competing with the true "masters" of this game.  How do I loose my exemption?

I felt this way too, initially.

My rating peaked at 65 way back when...since the new tiers were released, I went to Master and I now own a mediocre 70 average.

BUT BUT BUT, I wouldn't change a thing!  The master tee boxes and conditions are downright brutal, but it has brought my game to a new level.  I'm not firing -5 on 9 holes anymore, but my game has gotten tighter than ever.  I now attack pins constantly, even with crazy wind/slope.  If you can make birdies while playing as a Master, it feels amazing, and you really deserve to pat yourself on the back.

It reminds me of real life golf...I make pars and bogies for the most part, but every once in a while, I sprinkle in a bird and it makes my week!   It's tremendously exciting and gratifying...keeps me comin back for more again and again.

In conclusion, suck it up!   The rating is just a number.   I can say with confidence that I am one of the top 50 players in the world at this game (even though my rating looks pedestrian).   It hasn't come easy.   I adore this game, it brings me so much joy to sneak to my computer after a long night at work to tee it up with this amazing game.   I've played countless golf video games, but this is the diamond in the rough.   Best of the best.   I kinda hope the Tiger game steals all the fairweather players away from here....
