i earned 100 credits for making a birdie, is there someplace where the credits are saved so i can always come back to the credits?

That is odd.... I have never seen credits for birdies...
but then again, I have never been to Egypt and seen the pyramids, doesn't mean they don't exist.
I wish you got 100 credits for a birdie, I would have new clubs already!
You didnt mistake the in-game advertising along the lines of 'upgrade your driver for 100 credits now !' for you recieving 100 credits did you ? Its a little blue popup box on the top right of screen that appears during replays sometimes.
Thats the only thing i can think of ?
