just curious, why is the long 3w useless from legend tees? i just picked up the Rapture V2 with the idea that i might need some fairway length as I start moving up to the longer tees. I dropped the hybrid and currently carry the starter plus 3w (a bargain @ 20 creds) for my 190 shots until I get nicer irons. At that point I plan to drop the starter plus 3w and add another wedge, probably 100 distance (i have a nice 85 & 60 yarder).... then a supper long driver was gonna be final purchase perhaps for until I join the senior tour.
any problems w/ that setup?
At your level you can benefit. From the legend tees you need about the max of tailwind for only a couple of reachable par fives in two and then theres no bite and you rely on a very lucky bounce. A high flying hybrid would be more useful but would it reach the third hole on bethpage against the wind? The 225 3 wood is doing the trick now.
Anyone like the 222 hybrid I can get in a few levels?
