Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that there really is no fringe on this hole and the little bit of fairway in front of the green acts like rough?  I have been 6 yds from the pin on the little fairway in front of the green and using my 13yd wedge over half power and the ball only goes 2 yds.   I have reported the bug, but I'm just wondering if I'm crazy or does this happen to other people.  The ball hits the edge of the fairway before the green (should be fringe) and literally dies like you stuck it in 2nd cut rough.

Nope, not just you.  I get the same thing.  I always work hard not to miss short and right on that hole.

    Its not a bug.

Dont use a chip if you have more then 1foot of fringe or fairway or rough.  You need to use a pitch.  Or if you use a chip a 8yard with 3 feet of fringe need 12 yards of power.

Last time I checked the ball should roll on the fairway and fringe.  The ball shouldn't act the same way landing in the rough as it does in the fairway.  If I am only 6yds from the pin with fairway/fringe in front of me chipping is a better option than trying to pitch it.

Well lets see how the pros handle the course tomorrow....  Maybe it will play the same way for them if they miss short right in front of the green there?  A lot of it has to do with that slope they have there on the front of the green---- fairway....  you're trying to chip uphill and that makes it hard... put some topspin on it and it will roll a little more

I have complained about this ame thing and have a thread about the same hole...no matter the winds the ball seems to go right of the hole too. I try going left and hitting a little more club to get it there.
