I'm in the clubhouse with a 69...happy and all, but it should have been a 67.

I'm going to keep playing all week.  Right now, there are only 44 players above me...think it will hold up for a week?

I was hoping a 71 would hold up but I'm back out to play again to make the cut after that got blasted over the weekend. I'd think 69 would be fine..if not..that is crazy.

Dont worry Nate.  For 69 not to hold up it means 100+ people need to shoot 68 or better.

I am in with 69 as well.

70 is the goal now after blowing some rounds and getting the 71. If I could just make my birdies stand up a little longer on the back I am hoping to eek in. A 69 would make me happy.

Here is what frustrates me...just for the first time ever birdied the first 3 holes and missed a 7 footer for the 4th. Then I parred one and bogeyed the next 3 holes by a combined 2 feet..hang on edge pars. Then I birdie and then bogey 9 by an inch. So E after all of that. Now +1 after 12...I just shake my head and want to punch something. End up with a 73

Crap.   I shot a 71 the day after BPB was released, and thought that it would be good enough to make the cut.   Now it looks like I'll have to do better.

    Damn you guys are good.

"Auto clicker" software???  Does it exist and are people using it? Is it legal?

Do they exist.  I am sure they do.

Are they legal. (Legal per the WGT rules I assume) Not a chance.  According to the T&C's (Terms and Conditions) such a program is defined as an "UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM"and express;ly forbidden.  it is cheating.  it is fraud, it is tasteless and it will not nor should be tolerated in whole or in part.

They are not legal under most country criminal codes if money or prizes are involved as it is considered a type of  fraud.

Yes I am a lawyer.  No I do not represent you or WGT in anyway shape or form.  Talk to your own lawyers for local advice.

I hope so! I just broke a 69 after being stuck at 73 which I kept seeing +5 and giving up. Still want my hat. =)

If I could get a little love with putting I'd probably have made the cut this past round. Seems like EVERY time I change the putter distance, a perfectly hit putt starts offline from the aim point. I had a monster break putt of 45' on one of the holes, so I gave it 6 or 7 feet of break from the aim point, changed the putter to a longer distance so the meter would be slower at the click point, hit it perfect, and the ball comes off straight at the hole?!?!?

I seriously would think there's a bug in the putting, but I haven't seen anyone else complain of this. So I guess I'll take my lumps tonight and try again tomorrow for my hat. :-)  No way I'm winning the trip over tibbets, but one can always use another hat to wear on the real courses.
