I suppose it had to happen sooner or later -

Had the pleasure of playing a chap tonight whom decided on the 8th green that it would be fun to take his driver out on the green an smash away at the ball. He done it again and again and then started hitting the ball all over the place - so very definately on purpose which I presume was in sporting frustration at having played his round with a set of rubber clubs.

    Thanks for the game Pelz77

I look forward to playing you again - not

On a serious note- how do we stop idiots like this ruining a terrific little golf game. ?

Hi Jalbertz, it's not a perfect solution, but you are able to continue and finish your game if the other player messes around and drops the game. This is to prevent you from losing your score if you happen to be doing very well and the other person goes rogue.

Understand that and indeed I did go on to finish the round. My point was that I had to wait until he eventually stopped his hissy fit before I could continue.

May be an idea to be able to red flag another player when behaviour is not as it should be. I'm sure this clown will go on to disrupt many more games.

    Thanks.

"when behaviour is not as it should be"

That's a slippery slope for sure. There will always be some bent noodles out there. But thanks for posting his name. You can bet I won't be on the course with him! :-)
