  I played a dude the other day that was a master but had zero ranked rounds with an average of 150. How is that possible?

  From what I read on the boards a while back, it's possible to tier up playing only coin games on the mobile. Coin games don't count toward calculating average.

  Exactly. The 3 hole coin games don't count toward average, so your opponent had no ranked rounds, hence, no average. Doesn't mean he/she can't play a little.

  I think your all wet...you show me with an average score of 63 and to my knowledge I have never shot a 63 or lower for 18 holes nor have I shot a 31.5 for 9 holes.

  Winning or doing well in tournaments also affects average score. That is to say, where one ranks (first, second, or third) can affect average. Also, match play wins (if against higher tier players) can also affect average by lowering it.
  
  It's not simply the score that can affect average.

  Maybe they're counting rudeness in the case.

  I just reached tour legend today I have close to 1500 ranked rounds but once my Ave got under 60 or 59.99 I moved up to T.L. and got 225 good.

  Congrats!

  To be precise, you need 500 ranked rounds as a Legend (certain courses count as ranked but not towards the average), and you must be at or below 60.000 average.
