I am new to the site and have played about 4 rounds of stroke play at Kiawah.  I am unable to play stroke on the other two courses.  I cannot figure out why.  Anybody know what is wrong?

I'm pretty sure Kiawah is the only course available for stroke play other than BethPage Black for the US Open Tournament. Bali Hai and Wolf Creek courses are open for closest to the hole competition. Give BP a try. You will fall back in love with Kiawah after shooting +22 or so on BP!

    Gerkman, there is nothing wrong.

Bali Hai and Wolf Creek are now, and will be for the foreseeable future, Closest-to-the-pin courses.  WGT has stated in another thread that they are not looking into making those 2 courses stroke play.

As Skysoljr recommended... go play Bethpage Black. It is a humbling, frustrating, irritating, rash-inducing beautiful thing.  If you play golf out in the real world you will appreciate a course that really REALLY makes you think, and makes you think that par is an outstanding score.

Then go back to Kaiwah and play darts.  /grin

    Cheers!
