Ok, we all know about the dreaded beast, I've had a few strange shots, but just had one that defies logic. Playing BP hole 8. From the long back tees I had 196yds with a 18 miles an hour wind in my face. As it's down hill I decided to trust my 3iron (200yds) thinking it would get me over the water. I ding the shot perfectly.....
Instead of just making the green I fly over the back of the green and into the bunker. The shot carries 222yds, then stops dead in the sand. Surely this is a bug?! If I had an 18mile wind in my favour then maybe that could happen, but for it to fly that far into a head wind makes no sense. Still managed to get a par, but was a little bit annoyed. The long tees are hard enough as it is!
