I joined paid cash bought clubs. then you bring more club out and balls. Ok so i buy them i mean you already made me pro and i cant break 90. so thats what 60 bucks i spent already.
NOW you say you are bring more clubs and stuff out. You simply have to have a trading post where you can sell your old equipment for like 70% of the new price. Or people will just stop spending money.
Hello Kinkydevil,
You may have bought clubs that are considerably more difficult because they have a higer swingspeed, so if you are not very good on hitting the sweet spot, they bring you worse results. I suggest you exchange them for a set that has as low a swing speed as the starter clubs, for example Ping Rapture that I use.
I am very impressed by those who achieve top scores at closes to the hole tournaments with the starter kit that has definite weaknesses.
I tried and found that, at Bali for instance, it was impossible for me to reach such scores because the longest reaching club does not bring you on to the green, even with the perfect hit and no wind. So you have either to play when the wind comes from the back or you need extreme precision in other holes (less than 10 yards) to compensate for the 30-40 yards you get because of too short "power" in the driver.
This amply demonstates that this is, above all, a skill and not a materials game. So, as in real golf, that I have played formerly it takes a lot of practice. One of my best "real golfer" friends has a worn out old-fashioned club set and plays like a god with it. So I suggest you focus more on practice than materials.
However, I recommend a better club set than the starter set. The driver and 3wood, for example, cannot make the promised distance even in no wind and the response of longer irons is uneven - with perfect hit and no wind the distance varies significantly and the precision in direction seems also not to be very good, again apparent in the longer irons.
I find that the PING clubs I bought are really very good - bringing a distinct improvement including sufficient power to the driver.
But most important is practice, practice, practice.
The words best ball hitter, Moe Norman, a real miracle man when it came to precision, spent endless hours with practice like other great golfers. This game realistically reproduces the conditions in golf in every respect including the fact that you need practice above all for progress.
