  I'm having a couple issues trying to figure out how far to bring the club back for bunker shots and where to place the dot. If I put the dot into the sand, does the shot come off like a splash shot? I can figure out most of the other distances, but bunker play seems to stump me. I guess the best option would be to just not hit it in a bunker, but that's just stating the obvious.

  If you're hitting out of the bunker onto the green, you're best option is to use a sand wedge or loft wedge (depending on length to the flag stick), change the swing type to flop shot, and swing at full power if the hole is farther than 13 yds, but if its closer than that, you wood shorten your swing and still use a loft wedge. Also, flop shots kick to the right so you may want to aim left.
