Picture the scene......
Qualifying for The Open and are having had the round of your life.
-10 playing the 15th knowing you just need to keep it together and get past the Road Hole to safely make the cut.
Hit the 15th green and are putting from 20ft for birdie. Tentatively knock one to 4ft thinking a safe par has been made.
Then promptly get hit by two huge lags, four putt giving a double bogey to take you down to -8.....feeling of complete despair doesn't even come close.
However, kept it together to birdie 16 & 18 and put a 80 yrd third shot on the Road Hole to 4 inches for first ever par on the hole.
Hopefully safely in past the cut line but I won't be counting my chickens until 19th July.
