  Seems like no matter how hard I concentrate or how good I try and play, I can't get rid of this nasty little +3 that's been following me around! I guess it's just lots more playing and getting better...   grrr...

  Figure out the holes that are getting you that +3, and beat them to death, try to practice different approaches, bail out spots and putts to determine where to aim or where to miss to.  For me thats #4 on kiawah, and #9 (damn left side fairway bunkers).

  Really? Always aim right on that hole, the fairway feeds to the left.

  As for the +3, just keep practicing! You'll get there! :)
