  I was just readins Josh Zander's article here Trap Your Wedges. Very interesting one. I was wondering however how could this be done with our virtual equipment? I'm not very experienced at this. Is it possible that the Punch shot can achieve this? I always thought that the Punch gives less backspin than the Flop for example.

  Punch is a very valuable shot in this game. It covers gaps in your yardages. Practice with the punch shot and you will be amazed at how close you can get it.

  That's interesting.  I cannot bring myself to use the punch shot in this game.  In real life I only use the punch if I'm under trees or hitting into a stiff headwind.  Of course, I'm sure my average could be lower if I did use the punch, but it seems an artificial device common to just the WGT game.

  2xmocha, you are missing out if you are not using punch in this game.  It fills gaps and allows you to hit more full swings instead of 75% meter shots.  Start with your wedges.
