  Anyone have a tip or two to tackle the third hole.

   

  She is a doozy...real tricky for the hack.

  I use a 5 iron with Ping V2 clubs and I used a Hybrid with the beginner clubs.  I aim between the golfers head and the left edge of the sand trap hitting the ball nearly full.  I can get to within about 20 feet or so doing this.  I would also like suggestions on how to improve my score on this hole.  There has to be a better way.

  I assume you are using starter clubs. My rcords say for a moderate side wind hit a 3 iron with back spin just less than full strength. for a wind 1/4 against you go to 4iron backspin full strength. quarter wind with you 3i just under full strength.

  All you can do is hit it on to the green from the front and hope it rolls close to the hole LOL. (see replay).  Starter clubs work fine as you don't really need backpsin, just let it roll towards the hole.  How hard you hit it depends on the wind, just take some notes and see what works. I hit it 180  with no wind and then add or subract distance depending on the wind.
